Are they kidding me??? Horse face John Kerry

I was watching our new Secretary of State, John Kerry (By the way, did you know he served in Vietnam) talk about the upcoming peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians. How can he talk about that with a straight face??? Do you know how many presidents I have seen in the last 30-40 years stand there and talk about how "peace is close at hand" and that they have "found a solution to the middle east problem". The Arabs and Jews have been enemies since right after WWII, they hate each other, they would like nothing more than to wipe their enemy off the map, does anyone really believe for a moment that there may be peace in that region?? Its like a bad rerun on television, oh oh, there is the president in the rose garden with an Arab on his left and an Israeli on his right, smiling, shaking hands, do ya think this time it may be for real??? [xx(][xx(][}:)][:(!]

    John Kerry is one of the worlds ultimate scum bags.

    There will never be peace between the Jews and the Arabs until one of them is no more. They have hated each other since WAY before WW2.

    Ya know, you might be on to something here. It would really be funny to see a clip of all the presidents and the others saying the same thing over and over every couple of years. Different actors, same lines...

    Yep. The problems go a LOT further back than WW2. Literally, THOUSANDS of years. That part of the world is based on a tribal society. Your loyalty was to your immediate family and to your tribe. Grudges go way back to when Tribe B insulted Tribe A by stealing a goat while the Pharoah was distracting everyone by attacking Tribe C. [:D][:D] Any world leader who thinks he can solve their historical problems is just deluding himself and the public.

    The first time I was in Boston in 2005, a cab driver was driving my wife and I to Beacon Hill. He asked us if we would like to see where the guy who is married to the "ketchup lady" lives!!!

    Kerry NEVER SERVED in Vietnam- he was merely a tourist taking pictures for an upcoming political career.

    The Jews (sons of Abraham through Isaac) and the Arabs (sons of Abraham through Ishmael) have been enemies since Abraham ran Ishmael's mother off of his land. The feud has come to a head with the designation of the country Israel, which was surveyed out of land held for hundreds of years by the Arabs. I suppose there could be peace if the Jews wanted to dissolve the nation of Israel and disperse themselves to Europe, but even then, I doubt it since the Muslims have been busy staking their claim to the entire Earth.

    Kerry did serve in the Navy in Viet Nam, where he was a swift boat commander. Usually those with this assignment stayed for 1 year, but Kerry came home after a couple of months, which is unexplained. A partial copy of his DD-214 was posted on his presidential campaign website, but 1 page was redacted. No one still alive will reveal the mysterious thing that occurred. He later testified before a Congressional committee about atrocities committed by US soldiers, even though he had never personally witnessed them.

    From his next assignment in the Pentagon, Kerry fabricated 2 purple hearts for himself, based on unexplained injuries.

    Kerry left his first wife after she was stricken with cancer, & then married Theresa Heinz, who was far wealthier.

    Otherwise, he is a fine person.

    I think what the OP meant was that the modern day problems at hand with Israel and the terrorist begin pretty much the very second the British gave Israel control of their own land and government in 1948.
