    Nice, I've never seen one with an English grip. Nice little bird gun.

    Very nice, a 20ga with a English stock, that should sell very well

    That gun made by Kodensha in Japan, was available from 1966 to about 1982.
    Looks like you have a European model, {they made 2 styles, one for the European market and one for everyone else}.
    That should bring a premium, those guns "fit" better but tend to kick more. Not a worry with the 20 gage.

    Here are some serial number ranges {which may be iffy because Kodensha
    hid most of their records}

    57xxx=1963
    86xxx=1965
    104xxx=1967
    141xxx=1971

    +1
    And I'm not normally a 101 fan, but I kind of like this one!

    That is really a nice upland bird gun[;)][^][^][^] I also really think that RG 22 short is an ugly gun in a cool kinda way. I would love to have that but i am not pulling a permit for that one[:D] Got some nice stuff up for sale. I have your auctions in my favorites and check them out all the time. Looking for that one of a kind marlin to come along that I cannot live without[;)] Oakie

    We have a nice bunch of things tonight....I wish I had noticed that my lens had a few specs on it before I got a million pictures of things.

    We have a couple nice Colts going tonight too! I just love SAA revolvers.

    We are driving to Memphis in the morning to meet someone who is having us list a collection. This will have some NICE Winchesters in the bunch. I don't know what else.

    Today we got about 20 boxes....some neat military style rifles along with some other nice treasures.

    At a second look something is weird about the checkering. It's too fresh compared to the ware on the rest of the gun. The curves in the checkering is not something I think they would do.

    I think that the pistol grip has been removed and the gun recheckerd. Nicely done and should bring a premium IMO.

    At third look I'm sure it has been completely recheckered. Not a factory job at all. Too many sloppy over runs and no border. It will do well.....[:D]

    I had about half dozen of those in my day and agree with cheese that the checkering has been redone or? ,,bidders see your pics though and will bid even though not factory,,imo,,and that's not worth 2 cents.
    Nice shotgun anyway-[:)]
