Cleaning time

Time to strip my 1911 down for a nice cleaning. ANd wipe down the others with a silicone cloth. I gotta get my mind off this Katrina/gas crap for awhile.[xx(]

    I havent been able to get to work the last few days because of poor weather. I broke down and oiled all my handguns in the last two days. Took me some time but got a nice warm fuzzy feeling when I was done.

    I took a break from cleaning but I sure do feel better. I can identify with the warm fuzzy feeling Ruger. Nothing like it in the world. I forget how cool guns really are sometimes. Nothing like stripping them and giving them a good cleaning. Its a good way to decompress and appreciate the brilliant simplicity of fine weaponry.
