Blackhawk question.

I was just wondering if the New Model Blackhawks come drilled and tapped for a scope? I don't plan on putting a scope on mine, but I bought it used and was wondering if it came from the factory like this or did the previous owner have it done.

No. They do not come from the factory like this. Weaver actually makes a scope mount that replaces the rear sight and also has a clamp that grabs onto the barrel so drill/tap isn't even necessary.

Mine has two places on the top strap where it has been drilled and tapped. Not that it matters much to me, I was just wondering.
