Moscow Takes Control of Venezuelan Oil Assets amid communist Meltdown.

Good time for Putin to make some deals, Venezuela is much better than Cuba, Russia stands to make a few bucks instead of spending them.

Wait, didn't Venezuela support Cuba? Hummmm.

No matter what Trump does now, it's is not going to make a lot of difference.

    Curious you may have told the story before how did you end up down there and did you speak the language previous to your location
    Why don't we go to school and work on the weekends and take the week off!

    Working for oil companies in 2002 and a friend said it wasn't safe to go to Venezuela so I went with him when he visited his family in a rural part of the adjoining country.

    The trip was like going to rural america around 1960 or before and it's cheap to live. There are still horse drawn carts, parades, costumes kids/adults in the park on Halloween, cows walking down the streets but not as many cows as 15 years ago. Not one national business, except drug stores.

    Like the U.S. the cities are EXPENSIVE, Houses, taxes, transportation. The only reason to live in a city is for work or have a business.

    Didn't speak spanish, some tex-mex and not much improved after 15 years. I'm the only english speaking person with-in 10 miles, maybe further.
