Just finished mowing the yard.

Realized towards the end, my glasses were gone.

I drive underneath multiple low growing pines etc. that could have swept them off.

Walked the 3 acres repeatedly looking for them.

My last decent pair.(only $450.)

This week just keeps getting better and better.

Yikes, that hurts. Did you check in the boughs? Maybe they're above ground. Maybe laying on the mower somewhere. Good luck with it.

    Yeah, I thought of that.

    Looked there also.

    They could be anywhere.

I'm sure I will run over them, next time I mow, and find them.

If they were my glasses id look for them just like you did maybe longer and give up. Id eventually find them in the shed where the gas can is or in the house on the kitchen counter and so on.

Good luck Bro. I hope you find them soon. I was cutting grass one night a few years back with a Colt Combat Commander in a case at my feet and as I was finishing up realized the Colt was missing. I jumped off the mower and spent a few frantic minutes looking but the pistol was found and was fine. I'm guessing your glasses will be too. [:)]

I tried that also. Hoping against hope.

Just got through walking the yard around all the low growing trees for a couple, or three more times.

    Dammit.

I know the feeling. Sent a $450 pair under a bushhog a few months ago. I did find them, what few parts were left of them anyway. Maybe those neck straps have a use after all.

I've walked the yard, repeatedly near the trees where it could have happened.

I've also given the house and the Metal outbuilding (where the Mower was located,) a very thorough search.

    Very frustrating. They have vanished.

I'm afraid I will find them next time I mow.

I needed to get a new prescription and a new pair anyway. Now I have no choice.

It's not been a good month.

take a leaf rake, turn it upside down and drag it through the grass with just a little pressure on it, you should hear the tines on the glasses if you hit it............

    Good idea.

I'll bust out the rake tomorrow after work.

Look everywhere besides the trees .... they aren't going to be where you think you lost them .... you know that. Good luck.

Go out at night with a flashlight and shine it around. They'll jump out at you.

If you don't find them, get a new prescription and order your glasses ONLINE! I'm paying less than $25 a pair INCLUDING FRAMES for my single vision glasses! Same exact glasses (same frame!) are over $175 per pair, and are made in china just like the ones I'm ordering!

    Left shirt pocket.
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

Many items that are manufactured locally in South America cost roughly 8 to 1 Your glasses might cost $50 to $75. My wife bought a pair a year ago for $55.
