    us55840 I agree. The number most commonly tossed around is 11 million undocumented aliens illegals.

    I routinely drive through Houston, and San Antonio, and Laredo, Baton Rouge. There are so many Hispanics!
    I have often thought that this 11 million is low.

    And now they are talking 600,000 in Houston alone?
    God only knows what the real number is nationwide.

    great chance to clean house and some sorry POS declares them off limits .
    use the system and enter legal with proof of a job waiting on them
    a voucher to support them for 5 years by a legitimate company with backing to do it

    600k is less than 10%.... (I'm not saying that is good... I'm just correcting the numbers....) And I still say it is way low. Probably closer to a cool million. If 10% of the top 10 most populous cities (where all the free bennies are) are ills then do the math...

    And those people do vote... Wonder why the big cities always go lib??? The D needs to nip that.

    From past reading of a wide number of sources I believe the 11 million figure to be closer to half the actual real number.

    And that doesn't count the ones that R.R gave a free pass to back in the early 80's.

    It's going to take more than the wall to secure the border. The most effective way is to cut them off from welfare benefits and jobs.

    The mess we have today was created by not enforcing immigration laws. We are a big cash cow for Mexico, and where there is cash the corrupt weasels in Washington are on top of things for their own benefit.

    As much as I dislike the people coming to America illegally, I think this was the right thing to do. Do I for one minute think they should face no consequences? No, but geez... treat them like people.

    Mayor of Houston called the shot. He has no jurisdiction outside the city limits. Metro area would include over 100 incorporated cities/towns.
