    My son went to work in shorts, sneakers and a hoody, yesterday. It was -6!

    I try to tell him, but he won't listen. He works less than a mile from here, and inside....but, if his car craps out halfway he may suffer some. Hell, he's 19....he knows everything![;)]

    Just when the environmentaloonists had the hurricanes to point out as the next sign,, along comes cold snaps and the wind comes out of their sails. THIS IS A DARN SHAME !!

    BTW: Houston might have days of UNDER freezing weather starting Sunday. Haven't seen it this cold for so long,, in "forever".

    The carpet layers are probably packing up all over the country. Maybe some are still here. Flood,, new carpet, pipes freeze and bust, new carpet. No excuse for folks NOT to have new carpet.
