Looks like XP still as a "little support"

Surprised but Microsoft is supporting their Malicious Software Tool for XP until July 14, 2015. This tool is used for almost all M.S. operating systems. Run it about every month or so and was about to download the latest, when I noticed this note:
quote:The Malicious Software Removal Tool will continue to be provided for Windows XP through July 14, 2015; it will also continue to be delivered automatically via Windows Update and for download via the Download Center.

Those still running XP can at least remove malware,,or as I prefer to call it,, CRAPWARE.

Should I?
The one problem I can see is,their is no desktop icon for the tool..
Malwarebites still supplies updates for XP as well. I don't think I have ever used MS's version.
Should I?
See no problem because the M.S. tool is NOT PERMANENT,, does not INSTALL on your computer. Every month or so I download (35mg??), run, look at report and delete the *.exe file that was downloaded. I'd say you'd be getting a double check.
Personally, AVOID downloading anything FREE unless it from Microsoft.com and ???
Edited this: There will be NO icon,, that's what I like about it. Program RUNS ONCE and "GONE" when finished.
Now you have a double check and aren't changing anything.
Ha,, posting problem, forget I had removed "everything" from the beginning of time,, like cookies, so no automatic password.
