It's too late for me, save yourself.

everybody has a right to their own opinion. For me, I can't imagine life without my children. The two latest, 6 and 10 ,are what life is. My others are 46,34(twins),28. Two grandchildren 12 and 8 sweeten the mix!!!

40 years between the oldest and youngest? How do you explain that?

They grow up too danged fast. You want to hold on to them at every age, then they go and grow on ya' and that age is just too darned special and you wish you had more time there too ... then comes the next age and the next age.

You are looking at this all wrong. The problem isn't the child. The problem is that if you want to have a child, that child has to have a mother. Mothers are always women. Therein lies the problem.[:D][}:)][:D]

In the teen years they are certainly few and far between.
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

Our daughter is amazing. We are so proud of her. Other than not eating her veggies she cleans her room when told and sometimes wo being told. We told her that she had too many toys and she should give some to kids who dont have any and she ran to laundry room and got a white kitchen bag and went to her room and filled it full.

    She turned 4 last monday.

John-Mark was put back on a feeding tube yesterday. A realset back for us. JM is just happy as he can be. Its nothing to him but feeding tube is a daily kick to the sack for daddy. Still 3 weeks to go tosee if his heart valve stopped leaking or if he will require another surgery.

None of this is his fault. He is a good kid. Like his sister he sleeps all night. Rarely cries and is a happy little guy.

Im happy with my set up. God gave us awesome kids.

My 21 year old daughter and 17 year old son are my life.

There is no greater pleasure than their company.

This papa bear will bite to protect them. Hard.

Nemesis Enforcer, I truly feel sorry for you.

My son and best friend gave me this little bundle of 'Joy of Parenting' last year.

With 15yr old girls that is certainly true! Luckily her sister grew out of it and seems to be doing well at college. First Final exam is on Friday.....

I don't know what I would do without my Son in my life.
From teaching him to ride a bike, watching him excel in sports and school, to teaching him to shoot and hunt.
It went by way to quick.
I move him for his 2nd year in college in two weeks.
I know I'll miss him as much as I did last year.

I disagree. My children were the making of me as a human being. I never knew how little meaning there was to my life until the moment my oldest was born. My life finally had a purpose, to raise decent human beings.

She is now 22, is on her own, works 2 jobs, and goes to college.

My baby is 18, still lives with me, is starting his last year of HS in September, and is contemplating joining the military upon graduation.
