A few times here it has been posted that either Adam Savage or Jamie Hyneman of the show Mythbusters are gay.

They're both happily married. To women. Adam has 2 sons.

    I don't put much stock in rumors anyway, but I don't think having heterosexual marriage can eliminate the possibility of someone being gay. Well, I guess technically they could be labeled bi.[8]

    It never occurred to me that either of them might be gay but you should know that being married and having kids doesn't mean someone isn't homosexual. Many gays get married and have kids. My cousin was married for 10 years and had two children then one day told her husband she was a lesbian. I think he kind of knew for a long time. They are divorced 20 years now but still friends and she has been living with another woman for the past 15 years.

    BTW- She is a rock solid coservative Republican who is horrified at her father's UC Berkely inspired liberalism*. Go figure.

    Everyone on my mom's side were Republicans going way back until this one uncle of mine went to Berkely and emerged a liberal of the worst sort. My mother and the rest of the family will never forgive that college for brainwashing him.

    Why the hell do you worry about their private lives? Is that how we judge people's worth/value now? Think about all the previous BS posted about them. Gunzforever probably has the answer to all this. He stated that"..as soon I know who the gay one is, that's who I'll hate". Is that not a brilliant statement?[xx(]

    They are not the myth busters they claim to be. After all, they go to extreme lengths to disprove one "myth" and call it quits on another. Thse wannabe "mythbusters" pulled the plug on the buried alive myth but excluded the burial "fact" of the vault. "Myth busted" or chicken crap?

    and Blckhrn, not all burials involve a vault. Concrete burial vaults are a high-end option and very expensive, and most folks don't shell out for them. I asked a friend's sister who is a mortician.

    Sure they pulled the plug on the experiment. Who wouldn't? The dirt was collapsing the casket lid and the chamber was only about half-full and Jamie's vital signs were going haywire and he was running out of air. Hell yes they pulled the plug, and rightly so. SHould the dude get crushed or run out of air to satisfy a person's desire for truth? I wouldn't.


    I don't have any proof and to be honest I don't really care if either of them are gay. I like the show. I would be very disappointed to find out Carrie was gay cause she figures so prominently in so many of my nightime fantasys.

    My information comes from a friend on mine who owns an Ad agency/video production studio in SF, is gay, and claims to have known and worked with them for 10 years. He told me Jamie is gay. Maybe it's just wishful thinking on his part.

    The bald head with the beret and the bushy moustache is just about standard uniform for many "masculine gays" in SF.

    Discovery health has their own show now like mythbiusters. I was surfing the other night and hit Human Crash test Dummy. They locked the guy in a fridge to see how long it would take to suffocate him and then sent him in a burning house with a fire suit to see how hot it got.

    Why are so many of the posters here obsessed with gays and homosexuals? I know it is an easy topic to discuss, but it seems that there should be no correlation between someone's sexuality and thier ability to enjoy and discuss guns and hunting.

    .....Off topic a bit, but around here, burial vaults are required, if not by law, then by cemetary regulations. When the casket rots away, they don't want the ground caving in. Vaults prevent that. They also make it tougher for grave robbers to get at the nice jewelry that many folks are buried with. (That's a huge waste, in my opinion....sentiment aside)

    I had such a train wreck of a day at work that reading all the messages on this topic was great! I laughed so hard I almost blew snot out of my nose and had to take an out of cycle blood pressure pill!! Sorry for the graphic there folks but I am still laughing at this whole string.     Of the queers I have to deal with on a daily basis, Id say 1/3 of them are Married. I work in the entertainment industry[}:)]Yes many of the Gay men are married to women, some of them actually know their husband is gay and sinfully accept it.

    It's also possible that gay men can be very good fathers and husbands and some women are more concerned about such things. I know gay fathers, married and unmarried, who are great fathers and who you wouldnt even know were gay. I also know gay guys who like guns and shooting. Living in N.Calif. for 17 years, I got a Phd in gay people before I figured out that sexual orientation is just about the least of differences among men.
