Hey, I got one of those daily emergency fundraiser letters fron the NRA saying that if i didn't send them money, Sen. Clinton's bill to to give felons the right to vote was going to pass.
I havn't read or heard about it on the news.
Any of y'all?
Like it would pass, at least it shouldn't, but with the way Bushis appeasing the illegals and those who hire them, who knows.

As I said in a post a couple weeks ago, felons already vote as far as I know,I know some who do.
As for the NRA having anything to do with it I find that pretty ironic. If I'm not mistaken years ago the NRA membership paper asked if you had any convictions, but not anymore, telling me they'll take your money whether you're a felon or not.

All I found was a bill about price gouging in Pennsylvania.

does not really matter to me anyway because here, in Georgia, once a felon hs done their time, fines and probation they can re-register as soon as they are done with it all. It's in our Constitution.

I think fellons should get ALL of their rights back after they've paid their debt to society. We'd probably have less repeat offenders if that was the case.

I've never heard of anyone ever getting all their rights back. It might be interesting to hear about though. My personal opinion is if you had a felony conviction 20 plus years ago with no other felonies since then, why not. A felony is a felony as it reads now,no if ands or buts. So why not have a length of time where it is set aside? Any body ever heard of such a proposal?

I agree in most cases. I dont think people who commit violent crimes should have access to guns.

I don't think people who commit violent crimes should have access to life outside of prison. But if you're going to make them free men, make them free men.
