A guy is offering himself as a friend for a month.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5516986578

The problem isn't that he's a Brit, but rather his purchase history - if you look through items that he's had feedback on from buying, you'll find:
1. A children's book
2. An "I Love *" badge

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I can afford better friends.

    A better question is:
"How the heck did you come across this ad? Shopping for a girlfriend?"

    Bid a million.

Ebay doesn't do a thing to non-paying bidders.

A friend came across the story on Fark.com. I am tertiary at best to it, so no, I wasn't shopping for a girlfriend.

If I were shopping for a girlfriend, there are better places than eBay. uPimp comes to mind. [8D]

Let's see....he bought some art books....and a book of childrens activities, an I love * badge and card, and two video tapes of the sitcom "Friends". Does this throw up any red flags for anybody besides myself? All I got to say is if you do buy this "friend" you better be wearing plate steel underware or he's gonna help you cross Gay St.
