    No. 11 is BS... My lab stole a large whole box of double layer of Valentine chocolates and even ate the wrappers.

    No. 23 isn't factual. I'm a Scorpio and I hold my liquor well ...

    Cocoa beans contain a compound called theobromine. Different types of chocolates contain varying amounts of this stuff, with dark of baker's chocolate having the most.

    Varying amounts of this compound, based on the dog's weight, can cause problems ranging from diarrhea to death. According to the vet, one ounce of milk chocolate per pound of body weight is considered to be a lethal amount.

    In other words, one pound of pure milk chocoloate wouldn't be deadly for a grown Lab, but you dang sure wouldn't want him in your house afterwards. [:D]
