I have a fixed handle on my AR-15 and today i bought a scope for it. i know it rides high but i can't seem to even hit a 4x4 piece of plywood much less the target. I tried it from darn 35 feet to 100 yards and nothing. Any advice on how to get it to even hit the plywood

Check to see if the top scope mount is all the way down in the handle part.

mine was hitting high and the mount was not all the way down. (mine was pretty tight to fit)

Throw the chinese scope in the garbage and buy a quality scope and mount.

Turn your scope the other way.[:D] Did your riffle shoot straight before you put the scope on? If not have your head space checked. Try using a bore sighter first. Then go back and try to sight it in.

Well if you have a mount you can see through then it is easy. Make sure it is mounted correctly. Then put you rifle in a solid mount of some kind. Site on a target 50 or so yards away with the open sites. With out moving the rifle adjust the cross hairs to the same target. Fire and fine adjust.

Don't take this wrong, but sounds to me like you don't know how to adjust the scope.
It'a happen to me a time or two and I'm sure I'm not the only one. What I've done in the past is find out where you are hitting. Shoot at something with a huge back stop and looking to see where it's hitting. Do this a few times to make sure it's close to the same place then start your adjustments.
If that's not it I guess your fuked. J/K
Nwcid has the best way to adjust it and I've done that, but with me it's had to find a solid mount.
I wish you luck. I hope you can figure it out. At least your out there shooting and enjoying the day right? A bad day at the range is better then a good day at work.
