Why S&W discontinued the CS-40?

I saw on a thread on ask the experts that Smith & Wesson has discontinued the Chiefs Special in .40s&w and are only producing them in 9mm and .45acp now.Does anyone know why they did this?Was that round problematic in that pistol design or what?If I was to buy one that would have been the one I got.You know having a round with the same name as the gun is appealing to me for some reason.Just wondering why they would discontinue that peticular one and keep the other 2 chamberings.

Go ahead and by the 45! Everyone knows the 45 is a much better round anyway.[}:)] I do love mine. Don't know why you don't hear more about this pistols for ccw use. Nice, very conceable, good shooters.
