...Why is it that all of the teams in NASCAR use Good Year tires? I wish I had the money to start a team just so I could use Bridgestones or BFGs.

Let me be serious,........don't know about their racing tires, but all of the OEM Goodyears that have ever come on a vehicle I bought, have sucked.

Not even close to the stated mileage rating.
I usually replace with BFG when the Goodyears wear out at 30K.[xx(]

Using the same tires makes all of the cars closer to equal. Just another way NASCAR is turning into IROC.

I think teams used to have a choice between Hoosiers and Goodyear, or Hoosiers were used on certain tracks instead of GY, but I forget...

Some teams used Hoosier Tires back in the 80's or early 90's but NASCAR put a stop to that.
