Reloading Presses

Okay I guess I am just sort of crazy. I do alot of reloading.
How many presses do you have.
I will start.

1) RCBS Rock Chucker with the Piggyback II
2) RCBS Rock Chucker single stage just for custom loading.
3) Lee single stage just for crimping custom loads.
4) Lee 3 station progressive. Not setup yet.

Four presses, is that crazy?

    I have 3:
    MEC JR shotgun press
    Old RCBS Rock chucker
RCBS 2000 progressive, I found I use this for rifle alot. What I do is use the single stage to process all the cases and then I use the progressive to charge and seat. I have found this to be really consistant. It saves time and gets rid of one more handleing step.

Brassman, you are only one ahead of me. 1) RCBS A-2, 2) RCBS Rockchucker and 3) an old Herter's Super C. Don't own a progressive and have never really felt the need. Have a great day.

Now I hope my father-in-law will let me have the Rock Chucker he had
in his shop. That way I can set up my custom loading with 3 single
stage presses. But I have such a limited space [:(]

ATF That is wild. I thought I was crazy wanting more presses.

*Lee Load-All II (12, 20 gauges. Don't shoot enough 16 to make it worth my while)
    *MEC 600 Jr. Mark V (28 gauge)

Waiting on someone to quote me a price for a 12 gauge MEC and a Pacific .410 (HINT, HINT to that someone)

Shotgun presses-1 C/H,1 MEC650,1MEC size master88,1MEC 9000,1MEC in .410, 1 Pacific 366,2 Poness Warren 880's. RIFLE/PISTOL presses-2 Lee turret,1 Lee 1000, 2 Rockchuckers,2 RCBS singles, and maybe one I have missed. I am looking to convert some of the MECs and a PW to different Gauges. The only Gauge I don't owwn is a 28(yet),and with over 30 calibers it is good to have extra presses.

Jeez, I hadn't thought of it, really, but now that I tally them up there are several and used to be about twice as many . . . .

One of which was a *huge* Hollywood (?) turret press - it was a turret of turrets. You could set up *four* complete three tool die sets at one time . . . made the A-2 look like a miniature . . . took up twice the bench space of the Dillon and weighed like 75+ pounds. I never really had a chance to use it. Mounted it and then some guy who had seen it in the bulk lot I purchased offered me about 33% of what I paid for the lot just for that one press. The lot was - literally - over 1.5 *tons* of gear and materials (two overloaded 3/4 ton pickup trips), so I made out real well.

"There is nothing lower than the human race - except the french." (Mark Twain) ". . . And liberals." (me)
