Paypal-Mistake

I purchased some colt 1911 45 mags here on GB. And payed with paypal.I won the auction via buy now and proceeded to pay. I entered all my info and pressed send. It said I paid 50.90 for two mags. It was supposed to be 27.95. This is due to the fact that I entered 2 in the quantity. I did this because Im a dumb A@# and I wasnt thinking about the lot, I was thinking individual mags. Paypal wont let me fix it because the transaction already took place. Whats the protocal here For those of you who sell items? I e-mailed the individual to let him know what I did. I hope he understands.

    You're headed in the right direction. The seller will need to return some funds to you. PayPal is NOT known for being user friendly, is even less friendly to gun owners (It is now an eBay company you know)[:D]

    How would a person even be able to call them? many of these Internet Transaction Companys do not advertise a Phone No..A phone call would make it easier.

    Hopefully the guy is honest and will refund the money to your PayPal account.

    I had a situation on GB where the guy didn't have some mags I bought.
    He refunded my money, after I threatened him with his life.(lol)

    Refunds are ok on PayPal, you'll only lose the PayPal service charge, about 3%.

    If you can get the guy to not accept it it will cost no one anything and you can resend the correct amount. I have done this for a few people that have sent the wrong amount.

    This account has been permanently locked with a $0.00 USD balance. All information associated with this account has been blocked from the PayPal system and cannot be registered with another account.

    This is what paypal just told me when I went to check my account. In an e-mail they said my account was closed because of my user name(gunrunner68) How about that!!!

    PayPal is run by a bunch of socialists whose goal is complete government intrusion in every aspect of our lives. One of the ways they see to achieve their goal is a completely cashless society--and of course a "gunless" society too! They see themselves and their electronic funds transfer service as "paving the way" toward their goal of eliminating cash (and the privacy that comes along with it).

    I may be wrong.....but I have been using paypal 5 years and all is OK! I think it is the best thing since "sliced bread".
