before i try to get an hour or two sleep...
storm hit bad here, power out since Mon 20:20 or so
currently have water coming in, borrowing very small generator that doesnt sound very well and may die soon.
BUT I CHECKED IN! [:D]
genny isnt strong enough for the pumps, so every hour or two am down bailing, thankfully it at least slowed down!
filling 7 gal pails to carry up a flight of steps and out since all drains are near the cieling basement is so low [:(] (VERY old house)
even p.o. was closed Mon because of storm, have been bailing and rying to save fridge/freezer contents sincewill get those finished grips out soon as i get some kind of break
(like the power company geting their butts in gear..)

I dont have a dog in this race but dont worry about the grips for now.

thanks guys, checked again on my way to bail [:(]
coming in around 60-70 gal an hour which isnt bad considering one time it went from lapping my toes to waist deep in less than an hour...
make about 9 or 10 trips and go pass out again
maint thing is keep it from reaching the work bench and all the wood/tools

oldemagics, probably way after the fact, but do you have any lower area where you could place the outlet end of a siphon hose?

Take care of your family and self. Don't sweat the grips, whenever I get mine I bet they will still fit! If there is anything we can do, just let us know. Prayers are there.
