In the crock pot today

I have mad love for the crock pot. You can toss whatever in there and just leave it....to come back after all the work is done and have something that took hours to cook.
Nothing major today....just three large frozen chicken breasts, a packet of Italian seasoning and two cans of tomatoes. I plan on tossing some egg noodles in the pot later tonight so it will be more of a stew.
One of my favorites is orange chicken...a small jar of orange marmalade (or jelly)...some soy sauce and chicken in the crock pot.....fix rice to go with that and its pretty dang good.
There are TONS of things on the internet you can try.

Or you can put it in a pressure cooker and be done with it in a half hour.

I get the appeal of how fast a pressure cooker is....but you have to be 100% focused on that thing for the entire time it is going. These days the less something depends on my attention the better.
What is a sinker?
Dough rolled up in a ball.. taste like a dumpling. Or you can get creative..

A day in a crockpot won't improve the metallic flavor.

This looks easy enough for me to try sometime! (I've said that many times and it has led to many stories I have shared with you guys.)
I'll get 2 of those bad boys going, one with chicken and the other with a different meat. Then I'll take the and seal it in individual servings in a vacuum freezer bag, seal them and freeze them. Then to warm them up, a take a pot of boiling water, throw as many bags of meals in it that I need. In a 1/2 hr. Their ready to eat, just cut open the vacuum bags and dumb it out on a plate and enjoy,
And of course, you can't forget the crockpot liners. It makes clean up a breeze
Think I'll grill some pork chops tonight.
Here's one for you, take some pork chops throw in cooker, add creamed soup of your choice I like a can of each, cream of mustroom and cream of broccoli season, cook until the pork chops fall apart, either leave chops intact or flake off in chuncks serve over choice of rice or noodles using soup as your gravy. Or cook noodles or rice in the crook pot in its final stage. Delicious. I do the same thing with chicken too

I have pork chops AND cans of soup! This is happening tomorrow! Thank you
Then there is the instant pot that can be a pressure cooker OR a crock pot.... plus a rice cooker.... Now that the kids are mostly out, I am needing a smaller crock pot....
WHAAAAAATTTT!!!! Forget flying cars.....behold the future!

I've got a bunch of pork chops and two cans of cream of mushroom soup in the pot now!
I'm going to be soooooo happy in about 8 hours or so.
It took 35 minutes and was fork tender.
Tasted great too.
She hasn't cooked anything in it that wasn't good.
She probably uses it 4 times a week.
