Good experience with Amazon this week...

I purchased 500 brass .223 casings last week for reloading from Big Brass, a seller on Amazon's website. They advertised "tumbled clean and deprimed, like new, hand inspected". What I received was very dirty brass that had not been deprimed. I sent Big Brass an E-mail complaining about the brass they sent and they never bothered to answer so I contacted Amazon.

Amazon gave me a gift coupon for the total amount of the purchase without question and apologized for their seller misrepresenting their product.

That's the first bad seller that I've run across on Amazon. I should have known buying anything related to guns from California was going to be a problem.

I've gotten to where if it isn't food related or something used I order it off Amazon.

Ordered wheel bearings and seals for my Jeep. When I got the package it was short one wheel bearing set. Called customer service and the young lady said they'd have it to me tomorrow. I told her the expense of next day wasn't necessary, but they sent it that way anyhow.

I have gotten a lot of gun stuff through Amazon (no brass thought) with no problem. Often cheaper than from the manufacturer and since I have prime, often with free shipping.

Yep me too. I've found some good deals like you said on gun stuff that are cheaper than from the manufacture on many items. I guess Amazon buys that stuff by the truck load so that they are able to sell it cheaper than the manufacture selling the items individually.

So far anything from Amazon has been as described, or Amazon forced seller to refund/replace the item.

I was surprised to find ATV OEM parts there also.

I've only had a couple of problems with amazon, and when I called them they fixed it right now.

Recently replaced a dying desktop computer with a refurnished one from Amazon. Two weeks after receiving it, it died. Contacted Amazon and they sent another out. They told me to send the dead one back in the box the 2nd one arrived in. Good folks at Amazon.

I sat in my chair and did all my Christmas shopping on Amazon.[:D]
On the negative side I showed my wife how to shop on Amazon.[:(]
    She loves that site.
I read yesterday that Amazon is going to crack down on counterfeit products.
Some of the stuff listed is clearly China fakes.
