Suppose someone was the successful bidder in the auction above and certified to the seller that such an item is legal for the buyer to own when, in fact, it is not.
Would the seller have any legal liabilty for having shipped it?
Is there any onus on the seller of such items to research whether or not such items are legal in the buyer's location?
I would like to own such a knife but I wouldn't want to get wipala in any trouble.

I would prefer to see "African Amercian Eagle Automatic Knife"
Don't lie to begin with and it is not an issue.
You are correct, but it doesn't answer my question in the least.
