    YES !!

It's being willing. I found out early that most men, regardless of cause or need, aren't willing. They blink an eye or draw a breath before they pull the trigger. I won't. ~ J.B. Books

Had the father been wearing tighty-whiteys or loose airy boxer shorts just before the "donation"? I've heard that temperature can influence which little swimmers are more energetic and have a higher chance of getting to the prize first. [:D]

Is the baby riding high or low???? It was pointed out that most women who carry boys have a lower tummy than girls.

    Here's to hopin'!
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

I've never been to a gender reveal party before but it sounds like a real hoedown. Will you be doing keg stands?

Don't get too excited, unless the mother had an amnio. A colleague of mine, who is due next month, had the gender of her baby "confirmed" via ultrasound in December. Yesterday, she had an OB appointment and another ultrasound. Well, as you can guess, she is having a boy. I asked her how she and her husband felt about it. She said last night was a very odd night, as they had named and essentially bonded with a little girl. It's as though they are in a sort of mini-grieving over this non-existent daughter whio is now a very existent little boy.

Good ol' country wisdom says, "Buy your husband tight briefs if you want to conceive a girl. The tighter the fabric on the male's testicles, the higher the temperature within the testicles, themselves. Male sperm perish quickly when the temperature rises. Likewise, if you're trying for a boy, the male should avoid hot baths and wear loose boxer-type underwear." Sounds like you need to start buying baseball gloves and football pads. [:D][:D]

I wish you the best! I'll pick Boy.
I didn't know what either of mine were until they were born. I did have a Daisy Red Ryder waiting for the first one! 1988, the 50th anniversary model was out!
I just prayed for 10 fingers, toes, and good health for the Baby and Mom.

If it's a boy, be careful with the circumcision.
    I know when I had mine I couldn't walk for almost a year![:D]

Just because it dangles don't mean it'll like the ladies. I think after a few years with a shrink to be 100% or at the very least "bi-curious". Instead of just a college fund might I suggest college/gender re-assignment surgery fund.

I happen to agree, for the exact reason I described above. I never wanted to know the sex of either of my children. I could not imagine loving a child of either sex more or less, all I cared about was whether they were healthy. I also knew several women in my age group who were told from their ultrasound they were having a child of one sex only to have the other. I honestly would have thought that by now ultrasound technology would be much more accurate. My kids' ultrasounds looked like Doppler Radar base reflectivity to me. (Is that rain coming?) I've seen my friend's pictures, and they are startlingly detailed. Yet, apparently mistakes are still made.

To each their own. And congrats on the little bundle of joy, regardless of the sex.[:)]
