I realize the Confederate flag is dear to the hearts of people I "the South" but I only see two events (1 in AZ, 1 in OR) outside of the Confederated states. Was there any show of support from "Yankee" states?

I don't know Ray, but I'm certainly enjoying watching the vids! I would imagine the showing outside of Dixie is much like the camaraderie we are experiecning here on the forum and in our homes with our family members. I know I certainly would like to be a part of such rallies.

It's starting to beginning to take off, remember that fool that was walking around asking people to sign his petition to change our US flag, it's not going to stop until these fools leave our flags alone. Heritage, pride, from where they cam from.
Did you noticed the killing in Chicago this weekend, why is it you don't her about the black on black crimes, because it would take the spot lite off the fight for our flags and guns, too he'll with them.

Yes, they are for real, however..........
Not well advertised as to be expected as the democrat party owns most of media.
If seen on democrat controlled media, the gathering is construed as a gathering of racists. You can expect nothing but negativity to be reported on such rallies.

The TEA parties were treated in a similar manner by the democrats and their allies in the media, while at the same time any opposition like Occupy Main Street was held in high esteem.

I don't believe any of these events occurred.

If they had I would have seen them on the news.

    Right?

I am against the Klan for anything they want.

Anyone who would wear those white clown suits and think they look good is mentally retarded.

    Hey Klan nuts.
You don't represent white people or any people.
You are an embarrassment to any aspect of humanity

Who would have thought that people who espouse the spirit of the Rebel flag would be...rebellious?

On a side note, note the news media's choice of terminology. All liberal demonstrators/rabblerousers are called "activists" while anyone protesting liberal causes are called "mobs" or "vigilantes."
    I may be a bit crazy - but I didn't drive myself.

How long will it be before Billy O'Reilly and Fox News repair the little credibility they have left as being a "fair and balanced"

The Confederacy's fight for Independence was an honorable attempt to, as Jefferson once stated, 'dissolve he political bonds which had connected them with another...'.

Contrary to Lincoln's lie, Government of, by, and for the people died at Gettysburg, not the converse as he would lead us to believe.

I applaud these rallies, though wish they would focus on truth and the facts of the war and not the revisionist history both sides of the conflict seem to espouse so easily.

This movement just might have the potential to drive out the progressives that took over the Tea Party and killed it.

First things first, Don. The north and the south will be forever divided on the many issues that started the war, but trying to understand it better is the key in eradicating the ignorance among the masses is what keeps the progressive movement alive. The Confederate flag and Old Glory are two honorable symbols that have the potential to unite us against our enemies, but without one it will be impossible, and without the other such is not likely to happen either.

That's what this progressive government and its anti-traditional American followers hold over the heads of the descendants of Confederate soldiers that attempt to buck the system even in the slightest of ways. That's over 70 million Americans that will be seriously discriminated against in one way or the other during their lifetime.

Question: Wasn't this flag, the stars and bars, from a small group of csa soldiers from Tennessee.????I like the Original one that Pwillie flies. Being first generation Yankee, I don't know. My parents were both from the south. Dad was from Boone, NC and my mom was from Miami, Florida. My sister finally got out of this communist part of the country and moved to Texas along with her kids. This is why I have the name Oakie.

I believe what you are calling the "Stars and Bars" is actually what is referred to as the "Confederate Flag" which is the rectangular battle flag of the Army of Tennessee. The "Stars and Bars" is the first national flag of the Confederacy.
