And it has all manner of idiot libs lining up behind it because they like the character he plays on TV and, you know "anyone but Trump" is fine with them.

Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life

Not knowing anything about his politics, but that he does a lot of charity work/ contributions I'd think he's better then most who run for office.

I really like the Rock but I don't think that he is President material.

In order to run for a higher office (Congress - senator - governor - etc...) you have to publicly identify with and seek the support of the Democrats or Republicans...

Frankly with celebrity cache and a middle of the road moderate huggy Feely platform it's not a stretch for him to end up being nice the Senate or Congress with the support of one of the parties infrastructure and power base...

He is most likely a fringe lib - prog - dem on most issues - like most Hollywood types...

But unless I see a real substantive interview that requires him to firmly express his policy opinions and stances and answer some tough questions I can't take him seriously and he gets a pass...

He did not support or assisted or stump for or fundraiser for or host events for or make appearances for any lib - prog - dem candidates...

It's usually hard for the Hollywood types to keep their mouths shut because they think they have all the answers and are smarter than us and can't stop espousing the lib - prog - dem agenda or proselytize...

He may be smart enough or have good enough advisers to convince him that in order to stay marketable and keep bringing in big bucks he should have no public sourcable opinons...

He may decide to transition from Hollywood actor to politician as his source of fame and income...

    Until then...

    Yawn
    Sigh

    Shut up and act

The Era of the American Idol presidency.

Maybe Martin Sheen could run. He played a president on TV.

I would laugh at this suggestion except for the fact that I did the same when Obama first ran for office. We all know how that turned out.

Thanks for bring that up, Marc! I'd like to be president too for all the perks. No need to do much, pick up a Nobel Prize for nothing, travel around the world with my bi**h for 8 years, and thumb my nose at the country. Plus all the while the freeloading public loves me (as well they should). Sign me up. :)

The word "rock" is appropriate for the range of DEMOCRATs currently under consideration for POTUS.

    Ok.

    That's disappointing.

Don't know the background story or motivation but if that's a campaign trail event or took place during the election than its a positive no for me...

    And a little creepy.

    Mike

Somebody modified a video he did before, but who he is really singing to is even scarier.[:D]
