Anyone have a good remedy for tree leaf curl?
Some will die in hot pursuit
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain

    What kind of tree?

Down here Peach trees get the leaf curl and we spray with fungicides. They also keep the fruit fungus from ruining the crop.

Nectarine. Last year the crop was so huge it broke branches and I guess it made the tree pretty susceptible. Never heard of it before today, but my neighbor thought that is what it was.

I googled it and yep. [B)]

I have a few peach trees(5) and here is what I do.

Keep the ground well raked under the trees and spray with a copper based fungicide like Southern Ag Liquid Copper Fungicide.

You are going to have to trim and prune the trees back get rid of effected limbs and spray the ground around the trees too.

I forgot this stuff is not dangerous to humans so the fruit will be fine. I keep my dogs away from the treated area and trees for a day but I don't think it will harm them.

    Good luck

I would call your county extension office or the county AG guy. Another good source is fruit growers and farmers co-ops in the area, they may be able to point you in a better direction for your region.

Sam06, I am two treatments in and seeing some mild improvement using the product you recommended. Thought the tree was a goner. It's WAAAAY late in the season to be applying this but it seems to be helping.

    Many thanks.

Your very welcome I am glad its working.

My Peach trees are doing ok this year not great but my pear tree doesn't have a single bit of fruit.

We had a late freeze here in NC and it really messed up everything.
