I was on the farm today and found 50 gallon propane tank that really old. Its been on the farm for more years that my family has own the land about 35 years now. Well the tank do have some gas in it! maybe not much but the valve is locked up! Hum my mind is thinking and its pretty close to my rifle range so it would be no problem to get it there?

Any suggestions?

I have met my deductible for my health insurance medical and pharmacy 5000 dollars.

Last month my meds were free. I usually pay 150 dollars a month.

I get my meds tomorrow from a mom and pop pharmacy. Al the pharmacist/owner called me and now he is losing money filling my prescriptions.

We worked out a deal where i pay 4 dollars a prescription x 12 so i will have to pay 48 dollars per month.

Or i could go to Walmart or somewhere and get them for free.

I have been dealing with this pharmacy for 17 or 18 years.

I guess i am going to just give him 48 dollars and stay with him.

    What would you do?

I am in the prossess of cleaning my bedroom (which is a major acomplishment for me![;)]).

I am running into a major problem!

I do not have enuff room for all my guns!

I have my cabinet jam packed full and my bare walls in my walk-in closet is lined up with them as well.

If I get some racks for the kids' rooms and put their rifles in thier rooms I should just make it on room!

How do you all feel about me letting my kids keep thier guns in thier rooms?

I would of course remove the bolts from them and all ammo is stored in my room as well. I talked with one sheriff friend of mine (who has met my kids and knows how they are with guns) and he see's no problem with me doing this because they are trustworthy around all firearms.

    What ya'll say?

    You are supporting incompetence.

How long has he been doing this?

Go to Walmart or somewhere else. His problem is his problem, not yours.

being nice is one thing and supporting a mom pop shop is a good deed however if the cost is higher by 50.00 a month your really taking money that could go to you family , maybe just me but I would go somewhere else
your money your choice is the bottom line
I would wager the wife and kids would vote use the 50.00 on them

    Go to Walmart

Your pharmacist agreed to take insurance and he was fine with that while you had to pay your portion until the deductible was met.

Now all of a sudden he is not happy with what the insurance company will pay him?

The agreed upon prices that he was well aware of when he agreed to accept insurance?

    Nope...move on.

When the pharmacist has made a considerable profit on a prescription, has he ever called and offered you a refund on his excess profit?

In South America if something is 1000 pesos cheaper (33 cents), that's where you buy.

Only Gringos pay exorbitant prices and big tips. Tip the coffee shops, 200 pesos (6 cents). Someone putting a cardboard cover over the ATV seat so it's nice and cool, gets 100 pesos. (3 cents). I'd say the majority of people do not tip, but paying people for covering the moto seat, that's work.

Christmas the tips go up and everyone gets a little.

BTW: When someone says "Hey Gringo" they are really saying. "Hey STUPID Foreigner".

Hard call, and I'm sure most if not all here wouldn't agree with me. but I would say if his service is better, and he's friendlier, and you generally like the guy, stick with him.

$576 ayear is a lot of money,If none or only some of the above conditions are met, I would say adios. because $576 is a lot of money for the same thing that you can get elsewhere for free.

You both came to an agreement, I say honor it [;)], being a small town guy myself $48 is nothing when you realize late a night or a weekend you're out of medicine and need a refill, he's the friend that will open up just for you, Walmart would care less, they would tell you their operating hours. Around here Walmart's registered druggist come & go pretty fast and from what I see filling the prescriptions I wouldn't trust my life with and that's exactly what your doing.

I would always support the mom and pop store. They are your community. WalMart doesn't give a poop about you.

You probably think that going out to dinner means your headed to the local convenience stores to get one of those hot dogs that's been sitting around for 5 hours

Service to me is worth paying for

Sounds like you'll do them a favor by going to Walmart. Figure enough folks like you can bring places like Walmart to their knees by living long sucking at their profits.

I guess I would look at what he drives and the house he lives in. That might be a clue as to who needs the money more. You or him.

Losing money filling a prescription sounds like a fish tale to me, and I would have a hard time believing the truth in that.

I picked up my meds today and he asked me if 12 dollars was fair to pay him and i did.

I live by a small town about 3 miles away and 300 people and if i had to go to another place it would be an hour wasted.

I will pay up to 20 and i will stop there.

The more I've thought of this, the more I would tell the pharmacist to pound sand.
For him to have told you how he is loosing money is just plain out of line and unethical on his part. He should know you, your condition, and circumstances by now. He is more friends with your money than with you. He is the one that made the deal with the government program on Rx's. You,after 9 months, finaly met your deductible and get a little of a break for,what,3 months?? And this pharmacist wants that too????
Screw him,we'd be done rfight there.

You guys saying "$578 a year" aren't doing the math right. This is the 9th month of the year so it's only 4x, not 12.
I used to recruit for the NRA until they sold us down the river (again!) in Heller v. DC. See my auctions (if any) under username henryreilly

If you spelt like dis for my daughter, I'd hit yore fingers with a hammer [}:)]

Three months left in the year, $154, some ammo or cheap rifle.

Also, it don't seem like the pharmacist would be willing to open up after hours based on his griping about the insurance he agreed to.
