My wife makes calls to her mother in Russia on a daily basis. Our current international calling plan got sold to another company and is now almost twice as expensive as it used to be. Do any of you make international calls and who are you with and what are their rates?? I'm getting tired of using phone cards altho the rates are OK kinda sorta!

Hey NutFinn who do you use??

AT&T U-Verse has an excellent low cost plan for my wife to call family in the Philippines, which she does often.

Skype is great, we use it a lot, except Hot Momma's mother is beyond computer illiterate!! I know I can go on-line and spend time looking and comparing all the possible products but my on-line experience is they all make their products sound great. What I'm looking for is a product someone is currently using and very happy with.

U-Verse has really horrible Russian rates. Already checked them out.

Her mother doesn't need Skype. For ~ $15/month you can make calls on Skype from anywhere in the world to anywhere in the world.

I have been using Primus which was an excellent carrier for over 10 years but it is now Lingo and no where as good plus it is more expensive. There has to be a carrier with low rates and good customer service. I just need to figure out which one will meet my needs.

I use either Skype or a calling card [:)] Using Skype to call a land line is 4.7 cents per minute, last time I used the calling card, I believe it was little cheaper, when bought $100 worth a time at a time, I believe it was Nobel
