When I parked last night it was dry, no snow to be seen! I wake up and there is blowing snow, roads are packed snow and ice plus there is a 3' snow drift at the side of the truck. Gonna be a fun day, can't make money hiding in the rest area!!

NOTE : Pics taken while parked in a SD rest area! No car drivers were run off the road to take pics! [:D]

We didn't get much of a winter here. Wish we could borrow some of that snow and cold for our mountains.

Should have parked here, we just got a little rain. Ask for the Southern route.[:D]

Maybe the snow will keep the fools off the road so you'll have a safer trip.

The temperature is supposed to be in the 70s here in Hampton, GA tomorrow. We didn't get a flake of snow or ice this year. Hopefully we'll have a long spring before the door to hell is opened up for summer and the blazing furnace like temperatures begin.

I remember waking up to the same mess BSR did. Makes you question why you ever started driving trucks in the first place and swearing to yourself that if you saw an ad for a job playing a piano in cat house in Nevada somewhere you would apply for it.

Next thing you know, that highway sound is singing you a song that only truckers can hear and you sit a little straighter in your seat, catch another gear and smile knowing you would never really be happy doing anything else.

Truth is, I miss being out there. Guess once you have "White Line Fever", you never completely get over it.

Looks like you are on I-90 someplace between Wall and Mitchell ?

Lotta distance between Wall and Mitchell! Pic was at the rest area around the 230mm eastbound.

Dropped off at 281 and zigg zagged my way down here to Columbus, NE
