I remember a woman driving one of those things around Charleston WV back in the 60's. Guess it was a promotion or something.
Leave it to CNN to use the photo of the Chrysler Turbine car from the same era.
There is a decent article about the why's of Chrysler destroying these cars rather than releasing them to the general public. Ghia did the body design and creation. Nine of the original 55 are still around in various museums or private collections.
