God bless her. I'm not sure how I feel about women in infantry, but I'd take a thousand young ladies like her over the spoiled, lazy, selfish kids that seem to be the norm today.

You got that right, she will be an asset to what ever she choses to do with her life. Will make one hell of a Marine.

Not all men can hack it as 0311 infantry. Fewer women can. I don't have a problem with the women that can hack it, however when they lower the standards so women in general can pass. We will have a problem, and that is what Obama has ordered.
We had a dropout rate of 25%. This means 25% of the men during Viet Nam could not handle it. Keeping the same standards, how many women do you think could not handle infantry.
