Lost money order

2 months ago the P.O. lost a money order. was told had to wait 60 days to file a claim. Went in on the 60th day & had to pay $5.50 to file a claim. Insult to injury, I'm not the one that lost it. They tell me it may take 2 weeks to process & they will MAIL me a check.I juat kind of figured that 1K was gone. Got a check in the mail in less than a week. I was amazed.

    I dont get why, you pay to send something and insure it..... and then the carrier looses/damages it.. you file claim and you only get back the total for the item.... you still have to pay them to lose/smash something

    most banks can cancell a money order purchased from them
    in a short amount of time, although the want you to wait 30 days or longer they will do it

    In the last 30days USPS has lost 2 packages for me.
    The Tracking no. on the first claim that it was Delivered, but can not say to what address.
    since Its mine untill it is Delivered, Who should pay for the loss?
    The 2nd. one the Tracking no. shows that it was sent to the DEAD LETTER office in Ten.I had it insurenced, They said that they would give an answer
    with-in 90days, If they can track it to Ten., then why can they not return it to me, or to the Buyer?
    On most of my shipments I am now requiring adult Singture.
