About the same that it took to pull them out when the Military downsized in Europe during the 90's. Many bases closed and the equipment was brought back to the US and stockpiled. The military has over 2000 M1 tanks stockpiled in the US alone.

Maybe something to wake you up. The US has plans to stockpile equipment in Cambodia and Vietnam. Can't say if they have begun to do it yet. But it is in the works.

And do not forget our presents in Australia.

Everyone yelling Russia.. If you look at the big picture. It appears to me as if China is the one being corralled..

more waste instead of spending money on fixing AMERICA..most do not appreciate the irony of the many AMERICAN companies running to VN to do business with those that created the bodies of 58000 dead AMERICANS

Vietnam did not do a single thing to the US to cause 58,000+ Americans to die..

I will let that sink in awhile and let you think about it.

George Carlin did his "stick" on the U.S. and wars. Very irreverent but also thought provoking[:0]

Another one that does not get it..

We are stockpiling arms all over the globe. Poland invited us to use warehouses in their country for this.

SHTF and the hardware is already there. No stockpile and we will waste a lot of time with the logistics of moving it from the US to where it is needed. How much time will it save if equipment is need in say Germany to move it from Poland VS moving it from US along with all of the support items needed.

The US learned that hard lesson with Iraq and so did the rest of the world. Yes we kicked their * in the first go round. But the rest of the world saw how long it actually took us to pack, move and assemble our military. They know where we are the weakest now during a large scale operation..

That's getting our military from point A to point B.
