the owner of the ship should have the skipper hung from a tall Oak tree, there have been hurricane warnings up for a week or more, the Capt. should have moved the ship further away from the storm much, much sooner.

It's not the original Bounty but the ship has a history all it's own and is a sad loss. They can build another but it won't be the same.

If it doesn't get slammed on the ocean floor by the storm they should be able to raise it. Would make a great documentary for National Geographic.

I thought Fletcher's men burned it @ Pictarin.....[:)] Actually not a happy story amongst the survivors after the mutiny- few woman, jealously, murder, etc.....

You are right, Airdale, plenty of time to move that boat out of harm's way. Something fishy going on here.
