So I guess Osama Bin Laden isnt dead after all. Question now is what does it mean. Did he release a tape cause he's blown his wad and the best he can do under the circumstances is rant at us on tape or is this the first part of a big lesson he's trying to teach us ... ie, we should tremble in fear whenever he rears his ugly head.
If the meanies hit us soon, then he will make his point...whenever he threatens us he means it and there is nothing we can do about it except bend over and get ready to take it up the poopchute.

I hope you're right. I've always thought the result of any kind of attack would be the strengthening of resolve to stick with the war on terror. If we can get the same results out of his tape, somuch the better. And by the way, I didnt refer to the terorists as "meanies" the forum censor machine edited out S*Bs;.

I'm not so sure about that. First, his very existance, live and free, is a black mark upon the President. Second, he seems to be saying "Thanks!" to Bush for providing him thousands of new Iraqi recruits and live-fire targets for them to train on in the form of US and Iraqi forces. Plus, of course, he brought up Bush's reading of "My Pet Goat" on 9-11, while 50,000 American lives hung in the balance in New York, Washington, and Pennsylvania. Michael Moore couldn't have said it better.

When did "Osama Bin Laden" = "UBL"? Call me illiterate but I think that's an "O" in front of his first name.

P.S. I don't think the tape made a bit of difference for President Bush. The media is spinning and will continue to spin it completely NEUTRAL if not in FAVOR OF KERRY.

Personally, I think Bin Ladin was being deliberately understated in his message because he plans to deliver his real message in the form of some kind of attack on this country
