Which epoxy?

What is a good wood to metal epoxy? Something I can get down at Wally World or a Depot.

JB Weld.
Yup. Great stuff!
I doubt they have it at WalMart or most home improvement stores, but if you have a local gun shop that stocks acra-glas, give it a try. The bond it creates between wood and metal is extremely strong.
I'll vouch for that. Don't ever forget the release agent.[:I]
For my mixed material holder I use Super Mend.
I was not aware JB worked on wood.
Sure will, and if'n ya catch a guy sleeping soundly enough it will hold skin too.[^]
My next try was JB Weld; less than 2 shots. It was loose after 1, and completely tore away after 2.
I then tried an industrial epoxy called, Aquapoxy, which worked fine until it was fired.
Thinking like an engineer, I tried 2-part epoxy blended with metal shavings and supported by strips of metal; 4 shots.
I finally ordered a Scout mount from Tapco.
