I looked at them at one point. I ended up getting a DPMS .308 for about the same money. I still want one though, but I want it with the larger magnification scope.

If you can find the real SVD, jump on it. I have a Romak 3, but haven't shot it yet. Even if the rifle does not satisfy you, it is a great investment. Izmash won't be exporting anymore so you'd better get one while you can.

We had a Romak for about 50 rounds somehow they really found a way to screw up the ak action not sure how but they did, fugging thing bucks like a mule, more than any other 7.62x54R even with that massive break and the spring recoil buttplate. Its just not fun at all to shoot, and if you have glasses get a scope with lots of eye relief or else you wont have glasses anymore.... ya I found that one out the hard way.

Seriusly thow for the price its definetly not worth it, and we lost money when we sold ours, they dont hold there value at all.
