Sale at Wal Mart

Uh oh, I made the mistake of stopping at a local Wal Mart today. Went to sporting goods looking for archery accessories. I heard the clerk tell another they had a 7 mm on clearance. I asked the lady which gun was it and she showed me a Savage 110 7mm with a Simmons 3x9x40 scope. $125.00. They had two of them and also had one Weatherby Vanguard 270 for $200.00. Well, needless to say, there are three new boxes in my house!! A nephew may have a nice Christmas present this year.

I was in there once and saw Rem 1100's for $300. Neeeded another shotgun like a hole in the head, but who can pass on a good deal.

Every once in a while Wal-Mart will clear out remaining inventory and the prices are amazing. Nunn has told a story about being in a Wal-Mart and seeing some guns marked way down. Said he took a shopping cart full of guns out the door because they were below wholesale and he could resell for a profit with his FFL. You have to be there at the right time as they never advertise these specials, they just mark them down on the spot and it's first come first serve.
