I watched for the first few seasons, but not last season or this. It just got silly, and the interval between seasons was long enough for me to lose interest.

The leader, Rick, is a deputy sheriff, but he behaves and thinks less like a cop than just about any protagonist I have ever seen.

This all takes place in Georgia. Georgia is on the east coast. There are barrier islands off the coast, many of which have nice homes on them. So, why not commandeer a boat, check out the islands, and choose one that is suitable? Make friends with any live humans and destroy any dead ones. Too easy, I reckon.

My issues these days are they're not running in to famous people or zombie animals. Why is it only people zombie-ing out? I wanna see mad cow munching on long pig. How funny would zombie squirrels?

The zombies should be covered in maggots and figure they should only exist what 2 weeks maybe 3 before they're non-op maggot poop. I'm not even going to go how zombies can bite through cloths? That reminds me I wanna see a grandma zombie with no teeth gumming anyone.

As for island hopping that's a good idea. If they sail then they won't need fuel. Fuel has to be hard to get right? After what say five years at least? Maybe the island hopping is where "Fear The Dead" is going? Season one was crap.

Because that would make them live happily ever after with no killing and mayhem and then the show would be over[:D]

I think thy have just ran out of new ideas , the zombies have just become a nuisance they just walk up or wait on them then stab / hit them in the head . I agree in a SHTF world the other people would be the biggest threat they can think ,plan , carry out what's needed and have a the numbers to overtake smaller groups that would be closer to real world
I read some of the comments when they said the ratings have dropped . I would guess like nascar they will be a base of fans still hanging in there ,
I know I have lost interest in the show along with countless others

Although always described as a cowboy, Roswellnative generally acts as a righter of wrongs or bodyguard of some sort, where he excels thanks to his resourcefulness and incredible gun prowesses.

that didnt work out so well in "fear the walking dead" just as many deadly humans on water as on land, and since zombies do not drown , they make it everywhere

in addition, every human on earth is infected, so if an island inhabitants die, they turn just the same

I agree that I just can't see them lasting more than a couple weeks. The body needs some type of energy source and can't go long without water. Muscles work by electronic impulse from the brain but also requires a carrier (blood) to carry nutrition to those muscles. So your both the muscles can't function.

Haven't seen the season 2 of L.A. version. Zombies float? Also if they were on the water long enough the flesh should slough off or get pecked by sea critters to the bones.

After one clears the island it'll be like the season at the prison. Do a daily bed check to make sure no one kicked off during the night. You're good. I suppose a few sentries to keep an eye out for zombies washing up.

Might as well since Bill already looks like a zombie.
