Mine hang in the house. Still too much crap on the roads here to even take it out of the garage.

Roads are fine Not sure I can get out the driveway. Mud. Need to go get a couple loads of gravel and fill in some holes.

if i had all the time back i have spent just looking for my keys in my life, i'd live another several years without question.

im not disciplined enough to always put them in the same place. it works for a bit, then it falls apart. ive found my keys in some of the damnedest places. rooms i dont even remember going into and in places where its impossible they could have gotten.

Locked mine in my safe for safety so I would not lose them. But forgot I put them there. Looked in all the old places and they were gone.

Over time thats so far the best place, but it does take time to remember that.

Once when my son was six, he hid my car keys in his toy basket so I wouldn't go to work. It took me three days to find them.[;)] I did stay home one day and play with him but after that it was back to work.

I had the same thing happen but it was at a gun store i was at today. I went to leave the gun store and found that i didn't have my keys. They ended up being still in the store. It was quite a waste of 2 hours looking for them

My keys are either in my pocket, or the one place I leave them.
System has only failed me one time, and I thought I was losing it.

Left the keys in my pocket, and plopped into a recliner section of my sofa with cargo shorts on.

I got up about 30 minutes later, and needed to run down the road.
No keys in sight, and freaking out.

Finally after 15 minutes of looking everywhere, I went back to logic based thinking.
I stuck my hand down the right side of the leather sofa cushion, and jingle bells.[:D]

Same here. When I get home, I go to my bedroom safe. I put my keys, wallet, knife, burts beeswax, and pocket cash in the tray on top of the safe. My spare set of keys is on top of the fridge. That is it.

Twice recently, I took my wallet to my desk to make an online purchase. Both times, I left the next morning without it. Fortunately I had enough pocket cash for my needs, but not having my CCW permit kinda freaked me out. The first time, I thought "who the heck leaves the house w/o credentials?" I vow never to do it again...Two weeks later, I do it again...

Good way to lose the whole vehicle though.

I could do that at home. But do not want to get in the habit cause I have left them in the Ignition While in town. Got real lucky. So I broke the habit of doing it at home.

That's like me looking for my glasses when they're on my face.

I lost a lens out of one side of my glasses and wore them all day like that. I though they sure are clean until I found out.

I'm lucky living where I do. I never pull the keys, if I do I know I'll missplace them, so I don't pull them.

Thats like looking for your cell phone while you are talking on it. I've done that a few times.

    A battery maintainer.

They're worth every penny you pay for one. I got six years use out of the factory battery in my VStar.

You can also buy the Shummacher equivalent at wallyworld for a fraction of the price, they don't have the nice warranty though.
The batt in my lawn tractor is going on five years now using a Shummacher.
