Iced Coffee

Does anybody have a particularly tasty recipe? I love iced coffee, especially now that the warmer months are here, but plain old coffee poured over (or through) ice gets old pretty fast. Just thought I'd ask.

You can always add a little chocolate mix to it and make a Mocha.

    Make it Thai style!

Use very dark, strong dark roast/expresso coffee and add sweet condensed milk.

I find that using very small ice cubes is most important also.

All you had to do was google it.....Iced coffee is not a fav so its best you search for your own recipes..

The following link will give you two pages of clickable recipes...After you try them all, then you can google Iced Coffee Recipes...you will get the same thing I did..

Exactly! Why should anyone even think to ask for a personal reccomendation on anything in a general discussion forum amongst one's group of peers, when you have Google? [xx(]

    Dark Star...

This has run before, iced coffee, hot coffee etc and its not a fav on the board...I wasnt being sarcastic, its just that not many like iced coffee on here so the name of the game would be to try your own and if you dont know any flavors then why not search....

There was no reason for you to be sarcastic..

Interstate, I usually pour the coffee "through" the ice, to cool it without "watering it down" too much, then refrigerate it or put it in the freezer for awhile. The Thai style might be something new, I'll have to give it a try [:)]

BR, I'm gonna check out that link, maybe I'll see something that appeals to me[:)]

Once you decide on your recipe try putting some in ice trays and making cubes with it. Then it won't water down your coffee as much.

My favorite version of iced coffee is very close to interstatepawn's, except I add coriander, ground green cardamon, coarse corn meal, and a little ginger to the coffee when brewing.

    Black Roses
Sure, it has run before. So have probably 75%+ of the questions asked in General Discussion. Perhaps the poster never saw it run here before, or perhaps figured, "heck it's been a while, and there are some new usernames, perhaps some new input." Everyone knows you can Google your way to some sort of an answer. Some like to hear input from a select group. Hence "General Discussion", on a forum slightly smaller than the Internet as a whole.

And add the cubes to a glass of the same flavored, "fresh made"?

    Now, WTH didn't I think of that?!*LOL* THANX![8D]

BTW, I checked the link BR offered, some pretty good sounding stuff, in case anyone's interested! Thanx again, BR[:)]
