Rimfire handgun sights

Fixed or adjustable? What do you prefer? My Buck Mark has adjustable and I don't know if I have ever adjusted the rear sight.
Hits the spinners so I am happy.

    Adjustable is always best IMO.

.22 pistols to me are plinkers. that said, I like adjustable sights. I have a note book with adjustment settings for every yardage I shoot with. Adjustable sights lets me look up the adjustments to set it at at any given yardage... When I plink with my .22 pistols, I plink between 7 yds. to 50 yds. no hold over guessing for me.. Who knows, I may and do at times have money laid down on the shot

I'd have to say that if"there's money laid down on the shot", that's NOT plinking.
I have Ruger 22/45 pistols with both fixed 3 dot sights and adjustable sights. I find the shape and definition of the squared off adjustable sights improves my hitability by a considerable factor.
Whether fixed or adjustable, the shape may be a bigger factor.

I've only had two 22 handguns. The first was a Ruger Single Six that had reasonable sights.
The sights on the S&W K22 I have now are the cat's meow.

No, I take that back. I have had three. There was the Jennings I took from my brother when he threatened me with it. Didn't own it even 24 hours before taking a three pound drilling hammer to it.

Betting on shots is fun. I bet my buddy I could pop two ballons with one shot when I hit the edge of an axe blade thus splitting the bullet in two pieces. I staged the show perfect. I even got out a file and pretended to sharpen the axe head to perfection. I got out my Browning Nomad and loaded two rounds in the mag. The first one being a CCI shot round. I missed on purpose with the first shot but got both ballons with the second shot. Him and his son are still amazed to this day on how I could split a bullet. I'll let him in on the secret one of these days. [:D][:D]

I hope you don't take money on this bet. because you actually lost, more than likely. But it is fun to blow people minds, that don't know how it's done[:D]

Nah, it wasn't for money. Funny thing was that he tried 50 shots after that before he gave up. [:D]

It probably helped the frame/slide clearance issues they have and made it a good shooter!
