My the blower on my propane furnace will not stop blowing air and no heat is produced. I have plenty of propane.
I tried to turn off the blower on the thermostat but it will not turn off. The only way to stop the blower is to flip the power off.
I replaced the air filters and even batteries in the thermostat. That is the limit of what I know how to do.
Any one know what the problem is? Other than me, of course.

The fan will not stop even when the thermostat is turned to off.
Is this an expensive fix?
Can I fix it myself?

They usually are on here a couple of hours every day... Ought to be along ANY TIME NOW...
I've been in hvac for 40 years. you have a 'limit' or pressure switch 'open' the furnace thinks it is over heated (wether real or not) the brand/model makes a difference.
Well hell now, MIKE WISKEY makes three!!!
Most of my knowledge is old school, things have evolved some.
Even though you have replaced the filters, there is a possibility that an A-coil for A/C mounted on top is plugged.
If this were the case, your limits would take out the burner quick from low airflow. The fan SHOULD shut off after awhile though.
It's either a bad limit, or a 'welded' fan relay combined with a condition as I mentioned that won't allow the burner to stay on.
I called it first!
