Can I Join Your Fire - Redux

The first thread I started on this board was `Can I Join Your Fire'. Since we have so many new faces, I though it might be fun again. If you could sit around a get-away camp for a few days and could have a guest or two or three of your choice, who would it be. To make it even more interesting, this hypothetical camp-mate could be from the past. And then tell us why you chose who you did.I'd like to talk at length with Thomas Jefferson, to understand, if I could, what inspired him. And to Red Cloud or Crazy Horse to get a better understanding of how they managed to cope with the loss of their very civilization. And to William Rogers Clark on what drove him to do what he did as your country expanded beyond the eastern seaboard. Clouder..(EDIT) I meant George Rogers Clark, Williams brother, although William wouldn't be a bad choice either.[This message has been edited by whiteclouder (edited 02-06-2002).]
