The Gun IU Shouldn't Have Sold

Anybody have stories of guns they REALLY regret having gotten rid of?
My list(mostly in the 70s):
Remington 721 ADL, .270: Case ful of H4831 and Speer 100Gr=.5MOA.
Remington Rand M1911A1 w/ DCM NM (my additions) link and bushing: better than me.
Remington 788 22-250: 1moa- w/handloads or Peters factory.
S$W .22/.32 kit gun w/2"bbl fits in the hip pocket great but sticks out enough thay couldn't say concealed (in the 70's in Wyoming or Texas).
Browning Hi-Power-unreliable feeding (sold before I discovered the fix).
Remington Nylon 66 (replaced by Ruger 10-22: nah, strike that). That was a neat gun, but the 10-22 is better.
Inland M1 carbine (I put a Fajen Mannlicher stock and Williams peep sight on it and got 3X what I paid for it incl add ons). Maybe that wasn't so bad. I Think I paid $40 for the gun and about $90 for the add ons and got $200 for it. Most fun gun I ever had except the 10-22.
Savage-Anshutz .22Mag. My worst mistake. Made $150 but so what. I paid $125 for the gun in 1974.
Hi Standard Trophy pistol w/bull barrel.
Ruger Standard model 6" bbl (paid $37.50 for it and sold it for $75).
Wish I had them all back (except the nylon 66--the Ruger 10-22 beats it bad).
I did get rid of a S&W29 and replaced it with a Colt Trooper MKIII, no regrets.
I also had a Ruger Blackhawk .357 4 5/8"bbl and a Ruger S Blackhawk .44Mag (no regrets).
Most of these were sold because I was a single GI going (or gone) overseas where I couldn't take them. The things we give uo to serve our country!.
Anybody match this (hindsight CAN be 20-20)?

You will most likely find that the good Captain will move this to the General Discussion forum. The Experts are geared more to specific questions. Its a good topic and will get much more responses in General.Enjoy!!!

I've never made a mistake like ANY of those.
Except for turning down that "old gun in the closet" from an older friend....turned out to be a M1 Carbine, Winchester Paratrooper Stocked carbine.

870 28 gauge skeet bbl. NIB found it in a pawn shop, got it for 275.00 about 6 years ago. Kept it for a couple years and traded it. I plead temporary insanity.
I was looking for one of those. Why doesn't anyone tell me about this sort of thing?[:(]
