    "Red House" By Jimi Hendrix

There's a Red House over yonder
    That's where my baby stays
There's a Red House over yonder, baby
    That's where my baby stays

Well, I ain't been home to see my baby,
in ninety nine and one half days.
    'Bout time I see her,

Wait a minute something's wrong here
The key won't unlock the door.
Wait a minute something's wrong baby,
Lord, have mercy, this key won't unlock this door,
    something's goin' on here.

I have a bad bad feeling
that my baby don't live here no more.
That's all right, I still got my guitar
    Look out baby . . .

I might as well go on back down
go back 'cross yonder over the hill
I might as well go back over yonder
way back over yonder 'cross the hill,
    (That's where I came from.)

'Cause if my baby don't love me no more,
    I know her sister will!

There once was a girl whose heart was a frown
Because she was crippled for life an' couldn't speak a sound
And she wished and prayed she would stop livin'
    so she decided to die.
She drew her wheelchair to the edge of the shore
and to her legs she smiled "you won't hurt me no more"
But then a sight she'd never seen made her
    JUMP AND SAY
"Look a golden winged ship is passing my way"
And it didn't have to stop...it just kept
    on going.
And so castles made of sand slips into the sea
    Eventually [:)]

    I can't just list a song..haha!

There are a few that linger in me!

'The one' with a definite twist in
the end would have to be 'Summer Wine'
by Nancy Sinatra & Lee Hazlewood!

Made me want to grow up fast.. 'til I
figured out she stole his silver spurs
and left him thirsting for more of her
in spite of it all..haha! Nice song..
    SAD ENDING!

A few others that are inbedded forever are:

'Lady Bird' by Nancy Sinatra & Lee Hazlewood
'Michael From Mountains' by Joni Mitchell
'Queen of the Silver Dollar' by Quicksilver
    'Tight Rope' by Leon Russel
'Us and Them' by Pink Floyd

Gist of it is that the girl breaks up with the guy when she sees him picking garbage; twist is that he's a garbage picker, that must be "why I picked you...."

The song of life in the souls of some people.
The twist ending? When you run across someone in their 90's,
healthy, sharp as a tack, while others that age are barely breathing. Or have stopped.
