From the segments I've seen- speakers such as O'bama and O'brien it appears that the press still sees it as appropriate if a liberal makes a joke based on race and nation of origin or belittles a conservative- but then a different standard is used in the event anyone whose political/social views are anywhere on the spectrum other than extreme left. Oh well, social and politicam views no matter how strongly held can prevent the reaping of the whirlwind when the wind is sown.
