Transfer Southern California, Arizona, New Mexico and Southern Texas to Mexico. Actually solves a couple problems- The illegals that have "snuck" into those states are automatically back in Mexico AND since a large portion of the population of So Cal & Arizona consist of aged medically high use citizens, it would give Obamacare and those of us paying for it some room on the expense side. As a side benefit, Diane Feinstein would become a California Senator transplanted to Mexico City. We might even be able to throw-in Pelosi and Boxer. Come to think of it, there really is no downside to this idea.

A serious solution is to realize that the problem is Border & Port Security along with Visa enforcement. Illegal aliens are merely a symptom of a far larger problem that nobody wants to hear about or deal with.
The biggest mistake made in trying to get action on our border troubles was to make it so loudly about illegal aliens. A plan for failure from the first.

If you're holding your breath, pick a soft spot to pass-out on. Canada has already been down that road with the registration act that was dumped. So they are basically Don't Ask, Don't Tell regarding guns. I suspect they could be more inept than the US govt, but they would certainly have to try very hard.
