A Fitting Farewell To Skerry...

If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your council or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.

- Samuel Adams

AMEN!

What bothers me is there are no chains on Skerry.

And that no Vietnam Vet took care of him in the 1970's for his congressional testimony and activities.

Red- I'd trade your chains for a new rope and a trap door. Regarding your second topic, Lord knows there are enough patriots out there to do the job if need be.

The grand sum of American thought occurred 230 years ago. I don't know if it's a language barrier or culture barrier, but nobody seems to remember the mindset.

Yep, Boston can say good bye to Senator Kerry, he's movin' to DC!

"Every child had a pretty good shot,
To get at least as far as their old man got,
But something happened on the way to that place,
They threw an American flag in our face."

I really don't know enuf about Edwards to know if he's qualified to be President or not- after all he'd only be a squeeze away.

Ray B, let me assure you that no way in hell do you ever want to see Edwards as president. He is a typical self serving politician who is looking out for number one and only number one. He is senator from North Carolina (my home state) and there is no way in hell that they will carry NC. The voters in our state know Edwards too well. By the way, Mr. Edwards has played a large roll in the present shortage of flu vaccine by his law suits (resulting in mega awards) against two of the largest US producers of the vaccine, thus prompting them to gat out of the flu vaccine market.
